Why Blank Cards?
My family has always had a tradition of writing long, personalized notes in every card we give. These words have helped shape who I am and my values. I have a collection of every card I’ve ever received, and I often go back to read what was written for get-well wishes, my 10th birthday, college graduation, my first job, my wedding, and more. I believe that words can be powerful and moving, and I make sure to leave room for others to write these messages in the cards I make.

Why Jewelry?
For every piece of jewelry in my personal collection, I remember something special about it - who gave it to me, how I feel when I wear it, or where I got it. I enjoy finding that special necklace, bracelet, or pair of earrings that perfectly expresses how I feel or want to feel or reminds me of a special time in my life. I want every woman who wears my jewelry to have this same experience and to feel both beautiful and elegant.

Why Crochet?
When I was a little girl, my grandmother taught me how to crochet. I remember sitting on the couch with her as she patiently taught me the basics and laughing with her as my projects turned out…well, not so great. I didn’t really keep up with it as I got older, but when I was in college, I wanted to keep her memory alive in my life. So, I picked up my yarn and hook again and, with the help of a patient friend, renewed a passion for crochet. With each stitch I am reminded of my grandmother, and I enjoy passing on a little piece of my heart to all those who wear my scarves and wrap up in my blankets.

Why Lolly?
The shop name comes from my two nicknames, La La and Lolly, given to me by my little sister who is 20 years my junior. She is an incredible blessing and inspires me to make each day unique and special.
